Dennis Kauahi

Ka ‘Īpuka (Sergeant-At-Arms)

Over the course of 42 years, Dennis Kauahi has been committed to serving keiki and ‘ōpio at the Queen Lili‘uokalani Children's Center as a social worker, supervisor, and assistant director. He promotes culturally based social work and is contributing to the development of Nānā I Ke Kumu III. With knowledge and training passed down from his kūpuna, he is seasoned in conducting activities that promote bonding and trust amongst kāne. Mr. Kauahi is also a member of the Child Welfare League of the America National Western Region Steering Committee and a Papa Ola Lōkahi Native Hawaiian Health Award winner.
